1. Introduction

The website, digital platforms, tools, reports, and services (collectively, the "Services") offered by the Canadian Consumer Verification & Safety Bureau (CCVSB) are controlled by these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms").

2. Organizational Status & Independence

An independent, non governmental organization is the Canadian Consumer Verification & Safety Bureau (CCVSB).
CCVSB does not represent any federal, provincial, or local government and is not a government agency, regulator, law enforcement body, or licensing authority.
Based on publicly accessible data, submitted paperwork, and third party sources, CCVSB offers independent verification, risk assessments, documentation review, consumer advice, and training materials.

3. Scope of Services

CCVSB services could consist of, but are not restricted to: 

  • Requests for business and contractor verification 

  • Verification of identification, credentials, registration, and compliance 

  • Risk evaluations and consumer safety 

  • Acceptance of complaints and examination of documentation 

  • Resources for scam and fraud education 

  • Non legal disagreement advice 

  • Publishing of verification results or reports 

  • Membership based or subscription based services (if relevant) 

All services are supplied exclusively for informational and advising reasons.

4. No Legal, Financial, or Professional Advice

Legal, financial, accounting, regulatory, and law enforcement advice is not supplied by CCVSB. 

Any data, evaluation, report, or advise supplied by CCVSB: 

  • Does not qualify as legal advice. 

  • Does not replace independent professional consultation

  • Should not be the main consideration when making financial or contractual decisions. 

When appropriate, users are recommended to seek guidance from certified professionals.

5. Verification Limitations & Accuracy

While CCVSB makes reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and objectivity:

  • The information accessible at the time of evaluation is included in the verification findings. 

  • Following the release of a report, companies and individuals may alter their status. 

  • CCVSB cannot assure that any entity will behave, perform, or comply in the future. 

Verification findings are not endorsements, certifications, approvals, or assurances.

6. Complaint Submissions

By filing a complaint, you attest to: 

  • To the best of your knowledge, the information is true and genuine. 

  • Supporting documentation is collected lawfully 

  • You are aware that CCVSB does not resolve issues or impose decisions. 

CCVSB does not serve as a mediator, arbiter, or enforcement body, although it may analyze, record, evaluate, and classify complaints. 

Submissions that are abusive, malicious, or false may be removed or disallowed.

7. Fees, Payments & Refunds

Payment may be requested for some CCVSB services. 

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Before submission, all fees are revealed. 

  • Fees pay for processing, research, and administrative expenses. 

  • Once work has started, payments are frequently non refundable. 

Pricing and service options are subject to change at any moment by CCVSB.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise specified, all information on this website, including text, logos, graphics, reports, layouts, and proprietary procedures, is the intellectual property of CCVSB.
Without previous explicit agreement, no content may be replicated, reproduced, disseminated, or used for profit.

9. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

  • Misrepresent identity or intent

  • Submit false or misleading information

  • Interfere with site functionality

  • Attempt unauthorized access
